Lake Taco in Soutd Lake Tahoe

Beautiful beach and atmosphere. We spent an amazing afternoon just lying there. 10/10 recommend!!

Such a lovely place to picnic with a fantastic view of the water. Plenty of parking, porta potties available. Not crowded on a weekday.

Has swings, a play area, grass, a sand volleyball court, a small sandy beach, and several walking paths. Great place to relax and enjoy the summer in Tahoe!

Very nice lake-side park to escape to when you just don't want to mix with the crowds up the road at Commons. You can launch your kayak or SUP here. It backs up to a residential area, so not the same vibe as being in the Basin, but still, a very lovely option when you're closer to Stateline and want to relax by the water. Picnic tables on sites. Dog friendly!

Beautiful low key pet friendly park overlooking Lake Tahoe. Beachfront access, free parking, green grass and shade are all amenities you can expect from this cool spot just off the main drag in South Lake Tahoe. This is definitely a spot we will be back with as my girlfriend and I both loved it as did our pup!

This is a park on the shoreline There's a well tended grassy area, sand volleyball court, benches, bike/walking trail and the best bathroom I've ever seen at a public area, clean and well stocked

Walking path adjacent to serene Lake Tahoe. There are steps with handrails that allow you to access the water from the walking path.

Ample parking, excellent lake views, playground, a little beach access on the west side, grassy yard and restrooms. It seems to get more windy at this park than other beaches in SLT. As of 7-16-20 the restrooms and playground are closed due to restrictions in place due to COVID-19.

Free beach area with lake Tahoe lake access. Restrooms, parking and all directly on the lake. Arrive early this is a popular beach and best of all free parking and access. Easy walk to other locations along the beach and the main route highway.

A great spot with less foot traffic then most areas around that part of the lake. There is plenty of parking, steps where you can launch a kayak from, and a large lawn that's perfect for picnics!
